The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a crucial weather warning for Telangana due to the formation of a low-pressure trough over the Bay of Bengal and the active southwest monsoon winds.
Heavy to Very Heavy Rains Expected on July 21 and 22
Dr. K. Nagaratna, Director of the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre, stated that Telangana is likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall on July 21 and 22. As a result, the IMD has placed 12 districts under an Orange Alert. Moderate to heavy rains are expected in other areas as well. Strong winds with speeds of 40-50 km/h are also likely.
