TSRTC, the state’s bus service, has exciting news for women passengers during Rakhi festivities. They’ve introduced a special event called the “TSRTC Rakhi Lucky Draw,” where women traveling on RTC buses have a chance to win valuable prizes through a lucky draw.

State-wide Lucky Draw for Women Travelers

To make Rakhi even more special, TSRTC management has decided to hold a state-wide lucky draw exclusively for women who travel on buses during the Rakhi full moon period. The prizes up for grabs total Rs. 5.50 lakh, and each region will have 33 winners. Any woman traveling on TSRTC buses can participate on the 30th and 31st of this month. After their journey, participants need to write their name and phone number on the back of their ticket and drop it into specially provided boxes at the bus stands. These boxes will then be collected and used for the draw. Each region will have its own lucky draw, with three winners chosen by officials. Prizes will be presented by Chief Guests.

A Message from TSRTC MD

TSRTC’s Managing Director, Sajjanar, emphasized the significance of Rakhi’s full moon for women. He highlighted how women celebrate this festival with deep reverence, often traveling far to tie Rakhis for their brothers. In the spirit of this brother-sister bond, TSRTC has decided to award prizes to women using their buses during Rakhi. Women using RTC buses on the 30th and 31st of this month can participate by writing their name and phone number on the back of their tickets and placing them in the provided drop boxes. These boxes will be placed at bus stands and busy passenger areas. TSRTC aims to involve all women travelers, giving them the chance to win valuable prizes. The lucky draws will take place on September 9, and prizes will be handed out to the winners.
