CM KCR’s Decision
Chief Minister KCR’s decision to postpone the Group 2 exam in Telangana comes as a relief for candidates who were facing difficulties. This decision was revealed by Minister KTR. CM KCR has directed the state government’s chief secretary, Shantikumari, to coordinate with TSPSC for rescheduling the exam. The aim is to prevent inconvenience for the thousands of candidates.
New Exam Dates
The Group 2 exam, originally scheduled for August 29 and 30, has been postponed due to this decision. The rescheduled exam will now take place in November. Officials from CS and TS PSC discussed and agreed upon this decision. The revised dates for the exam will be announced soon, and it’s expected to be conducted before the assembly elections.
Planning for Future Notifications
CM KCR’s directive is to ensure that future recruitment notifications are better planned. The focus is on giving candidates ample time for preparation instead of rushing through the process. This approach aims to provide all eligible candidates with a fair opportunity to prepare for upcoming exams.

Assembly Announcement Leads to Change
Despite earlier expectations that the Group 2 exam would proceed as scheduled, Chief Minister KCR’s announcement in the Assembly brought about a change in plans. Speculations about postponement were dispelled when CM KCR stated that the exam would take place on the originally planned dates. However, the concerns of candidates preparing for other posts, including teachers, prompted a commotion outside the TSPSC office. In response, CM KCR decided to postpone the Group 2 exam, taking into account the candidates’ future prospects. The new exam date in November was set after opposition and candidate protests.
