What Is a Telangana Ration Card?
A Telangana Ration Card, officially known as a Food Security Card (FSC), is issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies of the Telangana Government. It enables economically weaker sections of society to access subsidised food grains and essential items under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
In addition to food security, this card also serves as an important identity and residence proof across India and is often required for availing other government benefits.
