CM KCR’s Initiatives for Employees
Chief Minister KCR made surprising decisions ahead of the elections. He established the Employees Health Care Trust, introducing a new health scheme benefiting employees, pensioners, and their families. A dedicated board, led by Chief Secretary Shantikumari, will oversee this initiative, ensuring the well-being of government staff and their loved ones.
Sweet Gesture for State Employees

Festive Bonus for Singareni Workers
In a festive gesture, the Telangana government announced a significant Dussehra bonus of Rs. 711.18 crore for Singareni workers. Last year, the company distributed a 32 percent profit bonus of Rs. 2,222.46 crore just before Dussehra. This year’s bonus is estimated to be around 300 crores, providing an opportunity for workers to receive even more than the average bonus of Rs. 76,500 per worker from the previous year.
Singareni’s Employee-Friendly Approach
Singareni company stands out as it annually distributes a portion of its net profit as a bonus to workers, a practice uncommon among coal companies in the country. Under CM KCR’s leadership, the percentage of profit shared as a bonus has consistently increased since the formation of Telangana, demonstrating the government’s dedication to the well-being of Singareni workers.
This year, out of the Rs. 2,222 crore earned by Singareni in the last financial year, a substantial amount of Rs. 711.18 crore is being distributed as a bonus to the employees, ensuring their continued prosperity.
