Step 1: Introduction to Gruhaahakshmi Scheme
Telangana state’s most ambitious project, Grilahakshmi, aims to help poor individuals without homes in towns and villages. If they have their own land, they can receive three lakh rupees in financial assistance.
Step 2: Application Process
The application process for the Grilahakshmi scheme is now open. The government has instructed collectors to accept applications. The last date to apply is August 10.
Step 3: Approval and Dates
Once the application period ends, selected beneficiaries will receive approval starting from the 20th in villages and the 25th in municipalities.
Step 4: Verification and Information Upload
After selection, verification takes place. Women beneficiaries need to upload their photo, Aadhaar card, and special bank account details on the app portal.
Step 5: Announcement of the Scheme
On June 21, R&B Secretary Vijayendra Boi announced the Grilahakshmi scheme through the Jivo platform.
Step 6: Scheme Rules and Regulations
There are specific rules to follow under the Grilahakshmi scheme:
- Rule 1: The scheme is sanctioned only in the name of the housewife.
- Rule 2: The land for house construction must be owned by the beneficiary or their family members.
- Rule 3: The food security card should be in the name of the applicant or a family member.
- Rule 4: Beneficiaries have the freedom to choose their house design.
Step 7: House Specifications
The scheme is designed for the construction of a two-bedroom RCC house.
Step 8: Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must belong to the same area and possess Aadhaar and Voter ID cards. Those already owning houses with RCC roofs under JV 59 aren’t eligible.
Step 9: Allocation Criteria
Beneficiaries in each constituency are divided as follows:
- 20 percent for SCs
- 10 percent for STs
- 50 percent for BC minorities (combined)
Step 10: Priority Allocation
Five percent of beneficiaries will receive priority in the selection process.
