The Telangana District Selection Committee (DSC) Notification has been released, announcing 5,089 job openings. Interested candidates can submit their applications from the 20th of this month until the 21st of October.
Examinations Dates and Details
The examinations for these positions will take place between November 20 and 30, using a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) system. The School Education Department has issued an official notification regarding this. The examination centers will be established in the old joint districts.
Job Breakdown
Within the DSC notification, there are openings for various positions:
- 2,575 Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) positions
- 1,739 School Assistant positions
- 611 Language Scholar positions
- 164 Physical Education Teacher (PET) positions
Telangana TET Exam
Additionally, the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is scheduled for the 15th of this month. The exam consists of two papers:
- Paper-1 for Secondary Grade Teacher recruitment
- Paper-2 for School Assistant qualification
Each paper is worth 150 marks. Paper-1 covers classes 1-8, while Paper-2 covers classes 6-10. The final results will be published on September 27. The TET Paper-1 exam will run from 9.30 AM to 12 PM, and Paper-2 from 2.30 PM to 5 PM. Hall tickets can be downloaded from the https://tstet.cgg.gov.in website.
