School Holidays in Telangana
Every year in Telangana, there are special holidays for the festivals of Bathukamma and Dussehra. This year, Saddula Bathukamma falls on October 22nd, followed by Dussehra on October 24th. During these festivals, the state observes a total of 13 days of holidays, spanning from October 13th to October 25th. It’s a time for celebration and relaxation for everyone in the state, including students and teachers.
Shorter Holiday Period
Compared to the previous year, this holiday season is one day shorter. Last year, the holidays lasted for 14 days, but this time, it has been reduced by one day. However, these 13 days of holidays are still a great opportunity for people to enjoy the festivities, spend time with family and friends, and take a break from their regular school and college routines.
Schools and Colleges Affected
It’s important to note that these holidays apply to both schools and colleges in Telangana. All educational institutions will remain closed during this period, allowing students and staff to participate in the cultural celebrations, cherish traditions, and return to their studies refreshed and energized when schools reopen on October 26th.
