Welcoming News for Telangana’s Muslims
The KCR government has brought uplifting news to the Muslim community in Telangana. Today marks the launch of the Christian Minority Bandhu scheme, specially designed to assist Muslim minorities all across the state.
CM KCR’s Assistance through Minority Bandhu Checks
Starting today, Chief Minister KCR will begin providing Minority Bandhu Checks to those who qualify for support. The official launch of this initiative will be held at LB Stadium, with Ministers Koppula Ishwar and Mahmood Ali leading the way.
Statewide Reach and Beneficiaries
Within Telangana, a total of 8,047 individuals are set to benefit from this scheme. An initial amount totaling Rs. 79.9 crore will be distributed as the first installment among these beneficiaries. Notably, the highest concentration of beneficiaries is located in Hyderabad.
Completion of Distribution Arrangements
All arrangements for the distribution of the checks have been successfully completed. This ensures a well-organized and efficient process for delivering the much-needed assistance to the recipients.
Extending Support: Minority Bandhu Scheme
In addition to this initiative, the government has introduced the Minority Bandhu scheme, drawing parallels to the BC Bandhu scheme. Through this program, both Muslim and Christian minorities will be able to access benefits and support.
