Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy Announces Teacher Job Recruitment in Telangana
Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy recently released a notification about teacher job recruitment in Telangana. This announcement came a short while ago. The notification states that there are a total of 5130 job openings available.
1523 Positions Allocated for Special Schools
Out of these vacancies, 1523 positions will be filled in schools catering to special students. Notably, this time, the minister shared that the recruitment process will be conducted through the school education department, rather than through TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission), which was the case previously.
New Recruitment Process and Schedule
Unlike before, where teacher jobs were handled by TSPSC, this time, following the orders of Chief Minister KCR, the recruitment will take place through DSC (District Selection Committee), as it was done in the past. The complete schedule for the recruitment process will be made available within the next two days.
District Collectors and DEO Secretary to Oversee Appointments
For the appointments, district collectors of each district will act as the chairman. The vice chairman will be the Additional Collector, and the DEO (District Education Officer) will serve as the secretary.
Upcoming Tet Exam and Results
A notification will be released detailing the procedures for this recruitment. Additionally, the Tet (Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is scheduled for September 15, with the results expected to be announced on the 27th of the same month. CM KCR has given immediate orders to release the notification and proceed with the appointments.
Ongoing and Upcoming Appointments
Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy highlighted that substantial progress has been made with more than 11 thousand appointments already made in Gurukuls (traditional schools). Presently, the recruitment process is in motion to fill an additional 12 thousand vacancies.
