The Hyderabad Center of the Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted that there might be light rains in Hyderabad over the next three days. This comes after an entirely dry October.
Break from Dry Weather
These showers are a relief after a long dry spell. The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre suggests the possibility of thundershowers in the afternoon or evening. However, these rains are not expected to cover all parts of Hyderabad, with only a few areas likely to experience light showers.
Precautions Advised
The Meteorological Department advises residents in low-lying areas to be prepared for changing weather conditions. During these light showers, temperatures are expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius. Nights will be cooler at around 22 degrees Celsius.
Extended Rainfall Across Regions
Rains have been falling consistently in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh for the past five days. This pattern is likely to continue across Telangana. Several districts, including Nalgonda, Suryapet, Narayanapet, Mahabubnagar, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Warangal, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem, are expected to receive light rain until November 8.
Heavy Rainfall in Nearby States
Apart from Telangana, heavy rainfall is also anticipated in neighboring states such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Stay prepared for varying weather conditions in these regions.

గత ఐదు రోజులుగా తమిళనాడు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో వరుసగా వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి. తెలంగాణ వ్యాప్తంగా ఇదే తీరు కొనసాగే అవకాశం ఉంది. నల్గొండ, సూర్యాపేట, నారాయణపేట, మహబూబ్‌నగర్, వికారాబాద్, రంగారెడ్డి, వరంగల్, ములుగు, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం సహా పలు జిల్లాల్లో నవంబర్ 8 వరకు తేలికపాటి వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉంది.

తెలంగాణతో పాటు, కర్ణాటక, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, కేరళ, తమిళనాడు వంటి పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాలలో కూడా భారీ వర్షాలు కురుస్తాయని అంచనా. ఈ ప్రాంతాలలో వివిధ వాతావరణ పరిస్థితుల కోసం సిద్ధంగా ఉండండి.
