Procedures for Gas Connection Transfer
The Telangana government, lacking specific guidelines for the scheme, advises citizens to follow a transfer process. Customers of major companies like Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited can transfer gas connections to family members by submitting required documents to distributors.
Transfer Process Steps
To initiate the transfer, obtain a transfer form from your gas cylinder distributor and complete it. Disclose details of the intended recipient, and submit essential documents such as Ownership Proof, Identity Proof, PAN Card, Subscription Ocher, and Declaration. The gas connection can be transferred to parents, wife, son, daughter, sister, or brother.
Finalizing the Transfer
Upon submitting the necessary documents, the distributor will verify the details, and upon approval, the gas connection transfer process will commence. A security deposit is required for the successful completion of the transfer.
