Second Phase Lucky Draw
On Friday at 11 am, the government will hold the second phase of the lucky draw for double-bedroom houses at Hyderabad Collectorate. Around 13,300 beneficiaries from 24 constituencies in Greater Hyderabad, Rangareddy district, and Medchal-Malkajigiri district will be chosen randomly. This event will have public representatives and officials present, and all preparations are in place.
Distribution on the 21st
Officials are ready to distribute houses to the randomly selected beneficiaries on the 21st of this month. In the first phase, 11,700 beneficiaries in 8 suburban areas received their homes through ministers, MPs, and MLAs. The selection for the second batch of beneficiaries will happen soon, with a focus on ensuring fair allocation through reservations. The software aims to allocate 17 percent to SCs, 6 percent to STs, and 5 percent to disabled individuals.
Successful Dry Run for Randomization
A dry run of the randomization process for all 24 constituencies in the Greater Hyderabad area was conducted at Hyderabad Collectorate. Collector Anudeep Durishetty expressed satisfaction with the specially designed NIC software’s performance, designed to minimize errors. Houses will be allocated to SC, ST, disabled individuals, and others following government orders through the randomization process. Additional Collector Madhusudan and DRO Venkatachari NIC officials also participated.
