- Monday: Idli with sambar or wheat rava upma, served with chutney.
- Tuesday: Puri with alu kurma or tomato bath made with rava, accompanied by chutney.
- Wednesday: Upma or kichidi with sambar, served with chutney.
- Thursday: Millet idli with sambar or pongal, along with sambar.
- Friday: Uggani, poha, or millet idli with chutney, or wheat rava kichidi with chutney.

Government’s Initiative for Students
The Telangana government has introduced this scheme to support students from underprivileged families. By providing a healthy breakfast, the government aims to improve students’ concentration on their studies. The initiative begins as a Dussehra gift to the students and their families.
Inspired by Tamil Nadu’s Success
Taking inspiration from Tamil Nadu’s successful breakfast program, the Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR, sent a team of officials to study their implementation. Unlike Tamil Nadu, Telangana plans to extend this initiative to high school students as well, incurring an additional cost of approximately Rs. 400 crore annually.
Early Start Due to Election Possibilities
Originally planned for October 24, the scheme’s launch has been moved up to October 6. This change is in anticipation of potential state elections, ensuring that the breakfast scheme begins without any delays.
Stay tuned for a healthier and more focused student community in Telangana, thanks to the CM Breakfast Scheme!
