APPSC Job Website Suspension for Maintenance
The official website of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) will be temporarily suspended for two days. This suspension is due to the yearly maintenance work scheduled for the year 2023-24. The suspension will occur from 9 pm on August 18th to 9 pm on August 20th. During this time, there will be no access to the website’s services.
Important Note for Candidates: Download Hall Tickets in Advance
APPSC has advised candidates to download their hall tickets for various recruitment written tests in advance. The hall tickets will not be available for download on August 18th, 19th, and 20th. It is recommended that candidates take note of this and make sure to obtain their hall tickets beforehand.
Telangana KGBV Teacher Written Exam Result Announcement
The written test for appointing 1241 contract teachers in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) across Telangana recently took place. The results of this exam have been released. Candidates who took the exam can access their rank cards by entering their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth details on the official website.
Vacant Positions in KGBVs
Telangana has a total of 475 KGBVs. Among these, there are vacant positions including 42 Special Officer posts, 849 PG CRT posts, 273 CRT posts, and 77 PET posts. The written test for these positions was conducted online in July. The selection process varies for different posts:
- CRT Posts: 80% weightage for written test and 20% weightage for TET marks.
- Special Officer Posts: 75% weightage for written test, 20% weightage for TET marks, and 5% weightage for teaching experience.
- PGCRT Posts: 95% weightage for written test and 5% weightage for work experience marks.
- PET Posts: Selection solely based on marks obtained in the written examination.
