Mukhyamantri Fasal Sahayata Yojana is a new scheme launched by the government of Bihar. According to this Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2021, Rs.7500 per hectare will be provided for losses of up to 20% of the actual crop production in farmers’ fields and Rs.10,000 per hectare for losses of more than 20%. The state government will compensate producers of wheat, maize, gram, lentils, arhar, rye, mustard, sugarcane, onion, potato, etc. Farmers in the State will not have to pay a premium on the amount they receive in case of crop failure. As part of the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme 2021, farmers must apply online. Farmers can do this by visiting the official website. Objective of Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2022

Bihar’s State Government should provide financial assistance to farmers who have suffered crop losses due to floods, droughts, and natural catastrophes and to encourage them to take up farming. Several lakh farmers who have suffered crop losses due to the vagaries of the weather will benefit from the Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2022. To accomplish this objective, the State Government has launched this scheme.

These crops will be compensated.

In 38 district of the State, wheat and maize have been distributed at the panchayat level. A district notification has also been issued for gram, lentils, pigeons, mustard, sugarcane, onion, and potato.

State-wide, 17 districts will be compensated for the loss of gram crop, 35 districts will be paid for the loss of masoor crop,

22 districts will be compensated if the pigeon crop is damaged. 16 districts will be compensated if the sugarcane crop is damaged. All sections of the State will be paid if mustard and mustard crops are damaged. If there is any damage to this crop, 14 districts will be compensated; if there is any damage to the potato crop, 15 districts will be paid.

Under the Bihar state crop assistance scheme, the reimbursement rate is 7500 per hectare if the loss is less than 20%. A farmer may apply for this scheme for a maximum of two hectares. A compensation of 10,000 per hectare is paid if the loss is more than 20%.

An applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
This scheme is only for farmers whose crops have been damaged by natural calamities or weather conditions.
Aadhaar should be associated with the bank account of the applicant.

Features of Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme

For the farmers of Bihar, the Government of Bihar has launched the Bihar Fasal Sahayata Scheme.

Under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme 2022, the government will provide farmers of the State an amount of Rs.7500/- per hectare if their crops fail to yield up to 20% of their expected yield.

A loss of more than 20% of the actual yield rate for the crops of the farmers of Bihar is worth Rs. 10,000/- per hectare.

The state government will transfer the assistance amount directly to the beneficiaries bank accounts to compensate them for the damage caused by the weather and floods to their crops. As a result, the applicant must have a bank account, and the bank account should be linked to the Aadhaar card.
