The scheme aims to cover about 8,405 Gram Panchayats in the State of Bihar and provide assistance to them. The government is providing benefits to five such youths from each gramme panchayat, i.e., a total of 42,025 such youth.
Under this scheme, three Sc, ST, and two Most Backward Classes beneficiaries will be given grants for the purchase of vehicles for each Panchayat.
People below the age of 21 years cannot avail the benefits of the Bihar Mukhyamantri Gram Parivahan Yojana 2022.
The beneficiary should not be employed in government service and should not already have any commercial vehicles.
