The Meteorological Department has reported that rainfall is persisting in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Surface circulation continues in the regions surrounding Coastal Andhra and Yanam. This circulation is expected to remain active at an elevation between 3.1 km and 7.6 km above sea level.

- Rainfall Predictions: Over the next three days, moderate rains are expected across the state, with heavy rains likely in certain areas. The department has issued an orange alert for Jayashankar Bhupalapally and Mulugu districts due to the anticipated heavy rainfall.

The Meteorological Department expects heavy to very heavy rainfall, particularly in parts of North Telangana.

- Statewide Rainfall: The state has experienced 40% more rainfall than normal. The average recorded rainfall is 83.64 cm, compared to the normal 59.77 cm.
