This scheme covers post-burn contract surgery for heart, lung, liver, pancreas, kidney, neuro-surgery, pediatric congenital malformations, burns, functional improvement, prostheses (prostheses), cancer to government employees who have this health card, do not have to pay for any treatment.

BENEFICIARY BENEFITS & SCHEME FEATURES

Beneficiaries of the scheme are members of the Lower Poverty (BPL) families who are counted on the BPL ration card and photographed and available in the Civil Supplies Department database. The benefit on the family is on a floater basis, i.e., a total repayment of Rs.1.50 lakhs can be availed by the family members individually or collectively. If the actual amount is exceeded, an additional Rs 50,000 will be provided as a buffer to look after the expenses, i.e., Rs 1.50 lakh per family. The trust pays a maximum of Rs 6.50 lakh per case for cochlear implant surgery with auditory verbal Therapy.

Treatment (surgery, chemotherapy), Therapy, polytrauma (including cases under the MV Act), and cochlear implant surgery with auditory-verbal Therapy for children under two years of age. All pre-existing instances of the above diseases are covered under this scheme.

Diseases exclusively excluded from the list include hip and knee transplants, bone marrow, heart and liver transplants, gamma-knife procedures in neurosurgery, assistive devices for heart failure, etc .; And diseases transmitted by national programs, TB, HIV / AIDS, leprosy, infectious diseases, malaria, filariasis, gastroenteritis, jaundice, etc.

Employee Registration: Under EJHS, there is no separate registration process for state government employees and pensioners to serve employees.

The Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) provides employee data (including Aadhaar) to the Ministry of Finance through the Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS).

This data is shared with the Ministry of Finance Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust to create health cards and is made available on the EHS website.

This health card can be downloaded, printed, and used by employees and their dependent family members.

Process for downloading Telangana Aarogyasri Health Card (EHS)

Step 1: Visit the official website of Telangana Health Card of Employee and Journalist Health Insurance Scheme, i.e., www.ehf.telangana.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Sign In” button.

Step 3: Click on the Employees / Pension option.

Step 4: The login form is displayed on the page screen.

Step 5: Now enter the employee ID and password.

Step 6: Select the employee type.

Step 7: Click on Download Health Card and take a printout of the card.

Resetting password

If you forgot your password for employee ID, you could follow the simple procedure to reset your password: –

• On the homepage, click on the “Sign-In” button.

How to renew  Aarogyasri Telangana coverage?

Follow these steps to renew your Aarogyasri coverage in Telangana:

1. Visit the official website of Aarogyasri Telangana: https://www.aarogyasri.telangana.gov.in/

2. Click on the “Renewal” tab on the home page.

3. Please enter your previous Aarogyasri card number as well as your Aadhaar number to proceed with the renewal.

4. Complete the form by providing your personal information, income details, and medical history.

5. Documents proving income and address, as well as medical reports, should be uploaded.

6. Once you have submitted the application, you will receive an acknowledgment receipt with a unique reference number.

7. After your application and documents have been verified, the renewal process will be completed.

The Telangana state government has introduced a new health scheme for its employees, journalists, pensioners, and dependent family members. They can use the cashless hospital at Network Hospitals (NWH). The new system will replace the existing Medical Reimbursement facility and come with additional benefits such as post-hospital cover and treatment of chronic diseases.

The TS government has also decided to pay the sum insured of an employee on behalf of the employee health scheme. The government will issue cashless cards to them on behalf of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS).
