Officials from the Hyderabad Meteorological Department predict that rain is likely after August 15. Currently, the sky remains cloudy. Starting from August 15, there are prospects of rain in Telangana and Uttar Andhra. However, Rayalaseema is anticipated to have dry weather.

According to meteorological experts, a surface circulation has formed at an altitude of 4.5 km above the mean sea level over the west central Bay of Bengal in the Andhra Pradesh coast. Additionally, a trough at 0.9 km above sea level extends from interior Karnataka to the Comorin region across Tamil Nadu. These weather phenomena are causing the rain in Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rainfall is expected in districts like Prakasam, Nellore, Annamayya, Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema, Kadapa, and Tirupati. Other districts will likely receive light to moderate rainfall.
